About SEQUEST

The South East Queensland UHF Emergency Service Team (SEQUEST) formed to improve support the community and improve safety by providing an effective, community-focused volunteer emergency service.
 
SEQUEST's fully trained operators monitor Citizen Band radio and summon help for those in need in cases of accidents, road hazards and other emergencies that may cause suffering and distress in the community. Our team has direct contact services such as Queensland Police Service, Queensland Fire Rescue Service , Queensland Ambulance Service, Coastguard & VMR , State Emergency Service (SES), Local Councils & Energex , RACQ  and other vital services.

SEQUEST  also provides communications assistance for people at accidents, boating emergency's, explosions, rural and urban fires, floods, road hazards, roadside assistance and roadside service calls, search and rescue, stolen and abandoned vehicles, straying or injured animals, taxi calls, telephone and radio message relay, weather warnings and others. When no other communications means are available.

All calls are fully documented by our monitor's and records are stored and personally confidential.
