SEQUEST
was formed in 2009 with the aim of providing a community focused
volunteer emergency monitoring group to members of the public who use CB
radio and improving services to the CB network
We
are a non-profit, charitable
organization consisting of volunteers who provide an emergency
monitoring service to the public via the Citizens Band
Radio Service (CBRS) & Marine Coastal Radio Network .We provide
an emergency watch of CB Radio & Marine emergency channels for
assistance and emergency calls.
Our volunteers are trained to a high
level of proficiency for our operators to manage emergency or
general assistance calls to
maintain the level of services we provide, we are constantly
searching for new recruits, volunteers to help us continue to provide
these important services to the community.
During 2011 SEQUEST decided to expand its operation's to the maritime coast radio network and obtained its first ACMA licence VND 717 limited coast non assigned.
Dedicated to helping and assisting the maritime community and volunteer marine rescue groups.
SEQUEST
has also been involved in many local community events since our
beginning such as Leukaemia Foundation's Light the Night, Brisbane
Convoy for Kids, Oxfam Brisbane Trailwalker and Riverfire.
